FREE - Introduction to USPSA Competition training course

If you have ever considered getting into competitive pistol shooting to improve your skills, have an excuse to shoot more often, and/or just enjoy the comradery of others similarly interested in the shooting sports, you are encouraged to join the Cavern City Action Shooters (CCAS) on Saturday, February 7th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Carlsbad Shooting Range and Action Sports Complex for an Intro to USPSA Competition training course and demonstration/practice shoot.

The course is provided free of charge and has been developed and will be led by the USPSA Area 2 New Mexico Section Coordinator, CCAS Match Director, and USPSA Certified Range Officer - Mark Dziamski.  The course will consist of classroom training that provides an overview of USPSA competitive shooting (safety rules, divisions, and equipment), a shooting demonstration, and the opportunity to shoot through a course of fire that simulates a USPSA registered match stage.  Those wishing to participate in the course of fire portion of the training should bring hearing protection, eye protection, handgun, holster, magazines (for semi-auto), and ammunition.
